The Board of Directors are delighted to announce an exciting acquisition has been completed, which enables all our customers to benefit from an extensive range of water treatment capabilities in addition to our existing portfolio of water hygiene services!

 

As of 31st March 2018, Kiwa UK Compliance Ltd acquired 100% of the shares of our long term supply partner Alchem Industries Ltd, based in Altrincham, Cheshire. We are thrilled to welcome them into our family!

 

About Alchem Industries Ltd

Alchem is an established and well recognised company within the water treatment and environmental services market. Alchem offer services to minimise the risk of Legionnaires’ disease, including:

 

  • Legionella risk assessments for cooling towers, domestic and process water systems
  • Legionella and Pseudomonas risk assessments for health care premises
  • Microbiological sampling and analytical testing
  • Environmental services including the HSG274 cleaning and disinfection of cooling towers and domestic water systems
  • Pre-commission cleaning in accordance with the latest BSRIA guidance
  • Specialist descaling and chemical cleaning
  • Degreasing and passivation of stainless steel pipework
  • Training and consultancy services
